Over recent months we have listened to our clients and as a result have invested many thousands of pounds in developing a much more versatile product and this will be introduced as a MkII model.
The new Sentry MKII is designed to operate in most climates and situations. Based on the original Sentry it remains the only PIR based device of its kind to demonstrate an extremely low false alarm rate. Plus it now comes with an improved client communication package.
The case is moulded in high density polymer plastic for greater durability, a handle is incorporated into the top of the unit and 80mm wheels at the bottom allows for far easier transport and deployment. A ‘U’ bolt can be fitted to the base to allow the unit to be secured in the field for extra security.
The base incorporates a new, larger battery which provides up to four months use before it needs recharging. With its built-in GSM capability the unit can send up to five voice/SMS messages whilst delivering a voice message over a PMR licensed radio band in the UHF and VHF bandwidths. At the same time the unit can deliver a caller ID message to its control room.
The Sentry MKII is the only device that can simultaneously deliver three different modes of communication offering the user full control over the alarm condition.
